Service and maintenance of your Sprinkler System - What you need to know

As a manager or owner of a building, it’s your responsibility to make sure the following minimum requirements are met:

  • Most sprinkler systems must be inspected and tested on a weekly basis (although there are some exceptions). A qualified technician from Dayshelf Fire Systems will know how often your particular system should be checked for compliance.
  • Conduct a regular visual check - technicians will look for changes to the system or building that could impair performance.
  • According to fire safety legislation in Australia, sprinkler systems must undergo regular maintenance by someone who has the right skills and experience – and is legally allowed to do the job.
