Client Requirement
Bermuda Point comprised two multi-story office buildings in the Varsity Lakes Precinct, Gold Coast. Astoria Group required a complete fire protection solution which included planning, design, construction and certification, as well as an ongoing service and maintenance plan for their fire protection system.
Solution
Dayshelf installed two integrated fire alarm and sprinkler systems. This included an addressable fire system with networked mimics covering all areas of the buildings, including adequate smoke and thermal protection. The system incorporated an EWIS evacuation with staged evacuation.
To ensure all fire safety regulations were met, Dayshelf also designed and installed sprinkler systems throughout the premises. These systems were installed with remote sprinkler solenoid test facilities that interfaced with the air conditioning building management system. Full access control shutdown from our system.
This full fire service package was inspected by both building certifier and QFRS with first time approval.
